I grabbed a pic off the telly, it has a strange quality .
The last time I did one of these TV grabs was earlier this year during the floods and storms.

Casting aside hard won technical skills and replacing them with visual risk is so liberating !
The anonymity and distortion really reflect these times .

I was desperate enough for today’s picture to photograph another one in the rain at 8.30 pm , madness ! .
It is not a masterpiece but it saved the integrity of my Trip Around The Sun .

The lights good , the location is good and the cycle shadows are not too bad !
Okay is okay but this pic could be better or should I say this light and location has the potential to facilitate a better picture.
I’m already planning to revisit this place again tomorrow, I just need to invest more time and capture a more unique moment .
Sometimes “Serendipitous spontaneous moments” only appear when you put a bit of graft in !

Zero footfall meant I had to look elsewhere, this location reminds me of the terraced streets I used to shoot on Tyneside years ago.

The whitened windows looked a bit more positive than the usual closed shop , a labour of love ?

Starting this week with a urban Whoooosh that possesses a Lowery-esque vibe !
I returned to this gable end location today as I wanted to see how it would respond to the ICM treatment ?
I’m not disappointed , failure eventually led to a bit of progress.
When the locations remain the same you have to change how you represent them photographically .

Delighted to have found another picture for the Whoooosh series today !
Once again simplicity was key to the success of this capture.
I hope I get the chance to show these images as large prints at some point in the future , as these wayward captures are full of blurry colourful details and surprises when enlarged.

Moody grey skies and hard light are always a welcome start to a photo shoot !
I just needed to find a location that made good use of the conditions on offer , a bit of colour would also help ! .
This gable end was facing the right way and I did not have to wait too long for this figure to appear either.
