I'll Get My Coat !

The Brexit story I’ve been photographing for the last 3 years finally caught up with me this week , as I agreed a redundancy package with my employer , like many other UK based businesses the company I worked for has been wrestling with difficult trading conditions during 2019 , manufacturing’s loss will hopefully become photography’s gain ?

I have “enjoyed” the ups and downs of the photographic lifestyle for most of my life and see this latest bump in the road as yet another challenge of our uncertain times, this full time employment allowed me the rare luxury of working on my personal projects exclusively ! Alternative income streams are now essential to fund both my life and my work !

The positive spin is that I am now time rich !

The irony of the situation is not wasted on me, I have become a casualty of the never ending Brexit story that I have been documenting and interpreting since June 2016.

Recent events will necessitate me keeping the wolf away by working freelance once again , selling open edition prints and offering photo-guiding services. I will continue to work on The State Of Britain project.

Those of you interested in my photographic services , open edition prints or my photo guiding services can contact me through the contact page on this website .

I’m heading off to London today to photograph what could be the last Brexit protests and maybe, just maybe the beginning of the end of The State Of Britain project ? ,

Thanking you for your anticipated support !

Until next time keep it real …
